The Department of Surgery and Obstetrics at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Qadisiyah held a seminar titled “Artificial Insemination in caprine”.
Objective of the workshop: –
The importance of artificial insemination in goats and its economic consequences.
Summary :
Artificial insemination (IVF) is an advanced method for obtaining multiple births. It can also create a synchronization of the herd in a whole herd and obtain highly efficient breeds in production.
Results :-
The artificial insemination in the goats has proved highly qualified in improving production and obtaining increasing numbers in the herd.
Recommendations:
Use artificial insemination to improve local breeds and increase production.
This workshop was held in Hall No. (1) in the College and its present m. Kamal Ghazi Ghanem teaching in the branch of surgery and obstetrics in the college.
