He resided diseases and diseases of poultry in the College of Veterinary Medicine / University of Qadisiyah branch seminar entitled (bio-security in poultry projects: Reality and Ambition).
Objectives: To highlight the importance of the application of biosecurity measures in poultry projects; being one of the most important pillars of the poultry industry.
Axes:
This episode included the following themes:
– First: the reality of bio-security in poultry projects in Iraq.
– The second axis: the implications of the application of the elements of bio-security on the success of the poultry industry in Iraq.
Results: The reason for the failure of the poultry industry in Iraq is due to:
1. The non-application of biosecurity measures in poultry projects.
2. indiscriminate import of products and poultry feed, vaccines without subjecting them to strict procedures for the security of vital.
3. The lack of health awareness in the application of biosecurity measures among workers in the poultry industry.
Recommendations:
1. The need to implement biosecurity measures are correct and stringent in the poultry industry in Iraq; it leads in the end to reduce economic losses, and reduce the risks of indiscriminate import, transform Iraq from the consumer to the producer country.
2. Expansion and continue holding workshops and seminars to increase awareness of health veterinarian.
